American Doubles
Held on the first Bank Holiday Monday in May. This is an informal turn-up-and-play competition for adults starting at 10am. Bring a picnic. Any children can play on the field. Bring bats and balls to entertain them.

Club Nights
These usually resume first Friday in May and run every Friday up until the annual tournament. We aim to have a couple of committee members on hand each night.

Social
From time to time we hold major social events such as fundraising balls. We may, however, hold other social evenings, a quiz night or curry night, for example, just for fun, if you want them. These only have to cover their costs.

TOURNAMENT 2010

This year’s tournament (Adults, juniors and under 10’s) will be held on 10th July. It is genuinely such a great day and seems to make a lot of people very happy for a comparatively small amount of hard work, although help is always greatly appreciated. Best thing is to get knocked out early, have a liquid lunch (or bring a packed one if you actually intend to eat) and then get stuck into the Pimms and burgers at ‘tea’ time. After the finals it’s rounders, apparently. (Although I don’t think they let you swing bats and throw balls at The Eyston Arms, so that’s a bit of a worry.)
