		The Hendreds Tennis Club is a private club founded to provide a facility for local residents to play tennis on our two recently resurfaced courts at the Sports Club in the heart of East Hendred, a stone’s throw from three excellent pubs. The club now has over 200 members - most of them even play tennis - which is largely played for fun although sometimes it has been known to get competitive! While the playing of tennis is obviously important, the social functions are equally important. Download our latest 2008 Newsletter here (67 KB pdf) We are not affiliated to the LTA and we don’t play in inter-club leagues; but we do have some very good players among our mums, dads and juniors. There is also an LTA coach in our membership.
			Everyone is welcome to come along to one of our Club nights on Friday evenings to see how you feel prior to paying anything. We are keen to extend the number of younger players. The Club is run by a small committee funded by membership fees and social fund raising functions. Membership fees range from £10 Junior to £70 Family.
